Our BAA(VC), or Bachelor of Applied Arts Visual Communications degree, requires three years of academic and studio studies, and two summers of applied studies, which can take the form of paid work-terms. Our Field Study Managers can assist you in locating a work-term from a wide variety of employment and career areas, including design and photographic studios, art galleries and museums, video and television production houses, print shops and newspapers.
We have been working with an architectural committee over the past two years to design a fabulous new home for Visual Communications here on the Medicine Hat campus. Faculty, staff and students are all looking forward to moving into a new state of the art facility. We expect to begin the transition this coming January and anticipate being fully moved in September 2014. For now here are some digital renderings of the exterior. We will keep you posted as the building grows…
